Effects of MIRAPEEL
The MIRAPEEL procedure is an extensive 90-minute treatment that is minimally invasive and painless, though mild discomfort may be felt during certain steps. Most individuals can resume work or daily activities immediately. In rare cases, there might be mild redness or sensitivity for a couple of days. Within 2-3 days, you will notice that the skin starts glowing and feels healthier and more supple. Regular treatments yield long-lasting anti-aging results.
Post-Procedure Care
After the MIRAPEEL treatment, you might experience mild itching or redness in the treated area for the next 24-48 hours. Here are some post-procedure care instructions:
- Use only a cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen on the treated area for three days post-procedure.
- Avoid using scrubs, loofahs, facial steamers, anti-acne creams, serums, anti-aging creams, or any other ointments other than moisturizer and sunscreen for three days post-procedure.
- Do not tweeze, rub, pick, bleach, wax, or exfoliate the treated area for one week post-procedure.
- Avoid other treatments like laser, peeling, medifacial/medispa for one week post-procedure.
- Apply moisturizer and sunscreen every 4-5 hours and avoid activities involving prolonged direct sun exposure, such as swimming or hiking, for three days post-procedure.
